SYNOPSIS

Mark Lyken & Emma Dove were artists-in-residence with public art organisation The Stove Network for 6 months, exploring people’s movements to and from Dumfries & Galloway in the South West of Scotland.

Using a Black Cab as a travelling studio, they interviewed the people they encountered about their memories, connections and relationships with the region, then sought out and filmed the personal and valued places that arose in conversation.

HAME - seeks out and observes places of personal significance to local people within Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland, exploring meaning within each seemingly commonplace location through a tacit consideration of the relationships of others.
